This could have been solved by making this area swing open, or at least having one of the roof sections open, but instead it is completely closed and inaccessible. We build the roof in three parts across three numbered bags. In Bag 10, we build the front and back peaks, which consist of to large triangles that are connected with a beam. A bit of visual texture is added using tiles connected by a single stud on both sides so that they create an irregular pattern, plus a small window at the top. Up for preorder now is a 3,128-piece re-creation of Captain America’s iconic shield.

The Hocus Pocus house is in Salem, Massachusetts
Built in 1930 to mark the tercentennial of Massachusetts, Pioneer Village is America’s first living history museum. The building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. For the exterior of Allison’s house they used the Ropes Mansion at 318 Essex Street (see how it looks today on Google Streetview). Director Kenny Ortega shot parts of the movie on location in the historic New England town of Salem, Massachusetts. Somehow, our team prevailed, and the film remains a cult hit, partly because of the classic look surrounding and supporting those great performances. We are about to show you the largest set in this list, and it may be shocking.

It is absolutely packed with details that fans will appreciate. Unfortunately, many of these details are hard to see and recognize once the set is complete due to design choices. I actually found more joy in building the Easter eggs included in the set than the final version because they are so hard to see. Bag 1 builds the gate and part of a crumbling wall, which sits in front of the main house. This section is completely detached from the main house. There are creepy vines and trees which decorate the crumbling gate and wall.
Fan Moments
We also add a small section of gable over the left side of the house, along with some ground and décor outside the front door. The right and left sides are built separately, and connect to the rest of the houseusing two Technic pins each. While both halves of the roof technically move, the left side is restricted by the placement of the chimney, so effectively you can only open the right side. The mechanism for opening the right side is smooth, but fragile, and does not hold up to play well. The roof sections themselves are beautifully decorated. Bag 1 offers a gentle (re)introduction to LEGO building by building a simple wall and gate.
Disney Cruise Line – What You Need to Know
The Halloween classic Hocus Pocus starred Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker as the Sanderson Sisters — Winifred, Mary, and Sarah — who were living in Salem during the witch trials. We restrict the purchase limit available to a single household to ensure fairness for all of our fans. If you’ve already reached this limit through previous orders, your entire order may be cancelled. Price-wise, this set is priced fairly, given how much you get in the way of detailed minifigures, with new and exclusive accessories and wigs, as well as a solid minifigure lineup. Unfortunately, Disney were quite prescriptive with who was included in the set, and it was their call on the 6 minifigures included, which is a shame as he’s such a fan favourite and so many were wanting to get a minifigure of him. There are some nice features such as it folding to form a proper fenced/gate section.

This is a nice nod to the pink smoke in the movie. We also add a few more details to the upstairs like a candelabra, the bedframe and a bat. The instruction book comes in a nice, protected envelope, which also contains the stickers used in the set. There are a few pages of introduction which introduce the designer and the motivation behind the set, and some of the goodies and Easter eggs included.
“Hocus Pocus:” Filming Locations for a Halloween Classic
The sloppiness of press releases continues, as"the 2,316 piece set comprises a fully complete with favourite props inspired from the film"is not fully complete since "house" is missing after "fully complete." I’m a fan of the film, and they’ve managed to capture lots of fun details here. The price is a bit steep…I may have to wait for a sale, but this set is definitely going on my wanted list. The only thing missing that would make this a perfect 10/10 is a Billy Butcherson minifig. In Bags 14 and 15 we add Dani Dennison’s minifigure, outfitted in her super cute witch costume and carrying a pumpkin bag for trick-or-treating. We also build a section off the side of the house that originally looks like a shed at first glance. Eventually it becomes clear that it is meant to attach the to the main house and contains the fireplace and chair that the children are bound to by the witches.
I’m assuming we will attach a second room on this side. Many fans have been wondering about the roof, which is mostly grey. The design team have done a wonderful job bringing the Sanderson Cottage to life, and fans of the show will be happy that it’s in this scale. The price is a little high, but you’re getting a complete cottage, with all 4 walls and is satisfyingly sizable making it a great display model too. Maybe maybe not but since it was made it could have been marketed better. I am sure this will do very well in North America where this movie has become some sort of Halloween staple for many people.
Good for fans, this might pass as a Medieval House. Pretty much a perfect set for the film, just missing Billy. Looks plausible for Castle fans, but I'd really like to know whether it's proper minifg scale, or whether it's way too large like the Blacksmith's. Truly the set ever, based on one of the IPs of all time. The six minifigures are one of the highlights from this set.
I also quite like the tree, which has a LEGO Friends-inspired design. There are plenty of great details here, and it looks like the LEGO Ideas team have done a spectacular job capturing plenty of details from the movie and squeezing it into the build. The Sanderson Sisters’ cottage itself looks like a really solid build, with accurate architecture and opens up to reveal the interiors, which include the museum gift shop. "Bombarding", Lego are over-saturating the market, and quality control has dropped as they are stretching themselves too thin. Added to the supply issues during Covid, where perhaps if they produced less sets and more stock it would've been better. I could see that hair/witch hat combo being used in Harry Potter.
I've never seen the movie because I really can't stand one of the stars. But that being said this is an awesome looking set on it's own without figuring in those three characters. When I saw this up on Ideas I don't remember if I actually supported it but when it made it through review I knew it was a set I'll probably be getting because it is so interesting to me.
